Nashik is one of the 4th largest city in Maharashtra. It is known as one of the holy and the ancient city in the state of Maharashtra. It is famous for temples and caves. There are various temples in Nashik and each and every temple has its own beautiful history.
So, basically it was a sudden trip organized to visit nashik and it was very amazing and worth visiting there. We started our journey at 5.00 in the morning as it takes 4 hours to reach nashik from Dombivli.
How to reach Nashik ?
From Mumbai by car :- From Dombivli -> Kalyan -> Kasara -> Igatpuri -> Nashik. The total distance is about 132 km from NH160. To reach saptashrungi temple(Vani Temple) it is more 68 km to reach.
From bus:– Total time from kalyan to nashik by bus will be 1hr 55 minutes.
After reaching nashik do not get confused while reaching Saptashrungi Gad.You have to continue straight 68 kms straight to Vani. Sometimes google maps are confusing so follow the straight path.
1) Saptashrungi Temple(Vani)
While reaching to the destination, there are many small shops carrying strawberries, Guava and some grapes. After reaching there are various parking spaces available to park our own cars or bikes. The parking is free but we need to purchase the pooja stuff from the owner which contains Sadi, fruits, coconut, peda and different pooja samagri which is 500 Rs and above.
To reach Vani temple there are 2 ways to go, one is the rope way and other is by the steps. There are total 120 steps to reach. For rope way there is 100 Rs for per person . You can catch the beautiful city view while going from the steps.
Also, after taking blessing from the goddess you can again climb the remaining mountain. There are no proper steps to take a whole round of that mountain. If you do not have the proper samagri for the pooja there are many stalls that you can see around to buy the stuffs.
You can buy different sweets like pedas, Ladoos, chikkis and many more other stuffs you will get there. Beaware of monkeys as they grab anything from you.
2) Nashik Flower Park
After visit to saptashrungi temple, our evening destination was Nashik Flower Park. It is built in line by seeing the Dubai famous garden. It is one of the most interesting and amazing flower park in anjaneri. If you love botanical stuffs or learning biology, you should surely take a visit to see different species of flowers. There you will get one flower with different varieties.

The imagination is very great who have arranged this type of garden. You can get amazing photographs in each and every end. Also there are some photographers who take our pictures and we have to collect it from the counter as in print or in mobile. For printed copy they will charge you 40 Rs and to have in our mobile 30 Rs per photo.
You will get different photobhoots like instagramer or facebook photobhoot to click amazing photos. There are stands where you can stand and you are surrounded by flower, it will look like you are wearing a princess dress made of flowers.
Just remember that tickets on week days are 300 Rs and on weekends are 400 Rs due to rush. Do not litter around as it is one of the beautiful garden with no dirt around. This garden started in 2020 and one of the beautiful botanical garden in nashik and in Maharashtra. Please do care if you are visiting and do not pluck the flowers.
3)Aquarium
Inside the flower park there is also an aquarium with different fishes and the main is IGuana. There are two Iguanas one is of 7kgs and one is very small. I have lifted 7 kg Iguana and is very heavy as he was on my right hand.
First I thought it is not real but when he nodded his head and took out his tongue, I was shocked as it is not easy to find Iguana oftenly and that also so heavy. I was blessed to see them in that park. In this photo he is the caretaker of Iguana and he do not keep him inside the cage but also leaves in the evening inside the park after 7.
You can take a look at his back there were spines on his back and where very thick. But he is an amazing reptile and very silent and calm animal. He only kicks out the oponent if he feels dangerous for himself.
Hope you have enjoyed my blogs and the photography. Do comment and let me know if you have visited or planning to visit. It is a must visit place with your family and friends.
