Chocolate Diya is a unique dessert recipe and is easy to prepare at home. This diwali make some edible diyas at home to eat and are loved by kids. Chocolate diya are made with just 2 ingredients and easy to prepare.
Why Chocolate Diya ?
You are thinking why we should make chocolate diya. So, Diwali is full of diyas and lightings. It represents the good over bad. Diwali is incomplete without Diyas. Everywhere we lit up the diyas and decorate each and every corner of the house. It spread happiness and love. So, I thought why not chocolate diyas this time.
Ingredients for chocolate diyas
- Milk compound or white compound chocolates
- 200 gms Whipped cream
- 2 food color
- chocolate Moulds
How to prepare Diyas ?
Melt the white compound chocolate in a bowl and divide this into two bowls. Add one green food color inside one chocolate bowl and one food color inside the another bowl
Take a chocolate mould and place the mixture inside the mould. There are two methods which you can apply the mixture properly.
Here spread the chocolate mixture with the spoon. Press the chocolate properly on the end side as after demoulding it, it would not break.
Another method is to spread it with your finger so that it will properly spread in all the end. I would rather suggest you to spread with a finger as it will not break. Most important is to properly spread the upper part as if we demould it there is a probability to break.
This is a silicon mould that I’m using. Freeze for 5-10 minutes inside the refrigerator and demould it. Slowly demould it otherwise it will break.
Take 200 gms whipping cream and beat it continuously till the stiff peak arise. After beating place inside the chocolate diya base and keep it cool for about 10-15 minutes.
How to prepare the flame?
Melt the chocolate and take a butter paper. Take one spoon and from backside just give the shape of flame and freeze it for 5 minutes.
Take red color in small amount and take a tooth pick and spread it on top of chocolate so that it would look like a flame.
Tip :- Whenever you melt the chocolate, quickly put it inside the mould or on butter paper for garnishing. Either, it would become thick and it will be difficult to spread.
Spread the sprinkler on the top and place it inside the cream so that it will look like diya.
