Paneer Tacos is an amazing Indian mexican fusion, combining paneer, corn and some delicious salad mixture. Tacos shell are easily prepared at home with some handful ingredients. It includes wheat flour, all purpose flour and 1 cup of curd.
Everyone loves Mexican cuisine and there are similarities between Indian cuisine and Mexican cuisine. The difference is all about some specific spices.
Ingredients of Paneer Tacos
- 1) Paneer cubes

How to make Paneer Tacos ?
Take a pan and put 2 tbsp of oil inside the pan. Cut finely chopped onions and 2 chillies and saute it for 2 minutes till it turns slightly pink.
Add some chilly flakes and coriander leaves to taste. Put some ginger and garlic cloves to it. Add salt to taste and add some pepper powder and chat masala to it. After that add the paneer cubes to it and saute it.

- baby tomatoes

- lemon juice
- chilly flakes
- oregano
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- Lettuce
- coriander leaves
These yummy salads are so tempting to eat and also there are variety of colors spread on a palate which is healthy and delicious.
Take a pan and add the oil inside it. One by one add all the veggies and saute it properly.
Add ginger garlic paste or add normal ginger. Add 2-3 cloves of garlic inside it. Squeeze the lemon juice and season it with some chilly flakes and oregano. After that, add some chopped spring onions on top of it. You can add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce inside it so that the flavours comes out and it taste better.
Tip :- 1) crush the cumin seeds and put it inside the mixture so that the proper flavour comes out and it taste better.
2) Do not fry the chapati at high flame otherwise it will break and you will not get a proper shape of taco shell.
3) Roast the paneer for 5-10 minurtes till it gives a brownish color.
How to make Taco shell ?
Ingredients required
- 250 gm Wheat flour
- 150 gm maida/ All purpose flour
- 3/4 cup of corn starch
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Cumin seeds
- Curd 1 cup
Take 250 gm of wheat flour and add 150 gms of all purpose flour inside it and 3/4 of corn starch. Put some salt inside it according to taste. Add the cumin seeds by crushing with hands. Put 1 tsp of baking powder inside it. Add 1 cup of curd for mixing the whole mixture.
After mixing all the mixture rest it with damp clothes for almost 5-10 minutes. Then, roll the chapati and place it on pan. You can also buy the tortilla sheets from nearby stationary shops or also on amazon.
Roll the chapati and prick it with fork. After that warm up on pan . Heat it properly on both sides and then add it inside the oil for frying to give the shape of tacos.
If you do not want to fry the tortila you can put the mixture as it is inside it and serve.
Do not fry it on high flame otherwise the shape will not be prepared properly. Remove the chapati and take a rolling pin and a damp cloth to give the shape of taco shell.
Coriander chutney is prepared from 2 chopped onions, some coriander leaves, 3 green chillies, 2-3 garlic cloves, lemon juice, sugar and salt to taste. Add 2 tbsp of mayonnaise and add these mixture inside it and fill inside the piping bag.
This is how tacos are ready to serve. You can use tofu as a substitute to paneer. This is one of the best vegetarian plus Indian and mexican fusion dish which you will surely enjoy while having dinner or lunch.
