Ahmednagar district is in Maharashtra state and 120 kms north east from pune. This name came from Ahmad Nizam shah and it is known as Nizam shahi dynasty.

1.Sautada Waterfall
Sautada Waterfall is located in Sautada village of Beed district. This place is located in Patoda taluka and a perfect place for the tourists. The total height of sautada waterfall is about 2000-2500 ft. It is a best place for the nature lover and can have pictureque views.
The area around is surrounded with nature serenity and with florals and faunas. This waterfall is the best among the Maharashtra waterfalls. There is also a temple near the waterfall i.e Rameshwar temple.

By Rail:- Ahmednagar station is connected to Solapur divisions and the rail connectivity is through various metro cities like bangalore, pune,Mumbai, Ahmedabad.
By Air:- On-going flight is from Mumbai to Mula dam. Also by reaching shirdi you can travel 80 km to ahmed-nagar city.
By Road:- From pune the total distance is about 120 km and from mumbai it is 337 km.
2) Chandbibi Mahal Tomb
Chandbibi name was derived from Chand Sultana daughter of Nizam shah. She was very brave and fought against the Akbar in the battle. It was actually known as Salabat khan tomb which was named afterwards chandbibi. She was the sister of Burhan and she married to Adil shah of Bijapur.
This palace is called as Chand-Bibi ka Mahal. The tomb was structured into a three-storey stone and situated on the crest of hill. This tomb consist of octagonal hall structure and very unique structure however reminds of Mughal architecture.
3) Gorakshnath Gad , Vambori
Gorakshnath Gad is 20 km away from the main city. Many tourists visit here during monsoon season. This place is very beautiful with its scenic view and best time to visit here is during monsoon season.
There is a temple located on the hill top of Goraksnath. Here you learn different culture and religion aspects of the community. You can easily interract with the people living near by. Mountains are surrounded by lush greenery and you will fall in love with the nature.

4) Mandohol dam
Mandohol dam is helpful to many areas and the people living near by. It’s main purpose is to supply water to nearby areas and also for irrigation. Mandohol dam height is about 27 m. The location of the dam is Karjule hareshwar village of Parner taluka. The construction was between 1977 and 1983.
